Honda or Ecotec

With the Honda and Ecotec crate engine not available, & If you want one of these two engines. I suspect you are left buying one from a "dealer" or from the salvage yard.

Which one would be your choice?

why limit oneself to those 2.... just because [That other track car]uses those two , does not mean it is the only 2 engines that would be suitable for the application.

My only thought is after market parts. I know that Honda has a whole industry of add ons, upgrades and information on "how to". Ecotec GM is trying the same route.

It has been somewhat proven with the Atom, so it seems natural for those that what the "easier path"?

There are alot! of other motor choices and I hope we can explore those choices here!! :D
