Gear shift Mechanism Help

I'm struggling with the gear change currently have a rod operated system though the pattern is not correct. I have now decided to go for a floor mounted cable shift gear stick mechanism. It would be really helpful if there is anyone willing to post detail shots of their own solutions to help me come up with a design for the shifter end of the mechanism. I've decided to go for SDR's gearbox cable conversion so that end is sorted.

I've looked at MR2/Honda accord shifts etc. though would prefer to fabricate my own

I don't know what your transmission mechanism is like but my shifter is cheap, light weight, tough and works quite well. I like the steel construction and crisp feel. Maybe you can use something similar.

Thanks Guys for posting, really helpful, the bell cranks look very nicely made. ome lose ups of your gearstick gymbal and bell crank arrangements out there would be really helpful. Cheers all.
