So lately my wife has been working alot of late shifts, and for the past couple of months she has been carpooling with a male co-worker. At first I didn't mind in case she has car trouble or something like that, but it seems they have become a little bit more than friends. You know the scenario, the phone calls that hang up, she starts wearing nice clothes to work and talking about him all the time then abruptly stops leaving an uncomfortable silence. If I'm out in the garage when she gets home (usually after midnight) he just drops her off and leaves, but if the lights are off in the garage and I'm in the house (they think I'm sleeping) they sit out in the car for like twenty minutes.

I asked her once what they were doing, and she said "Just talking".... whatever. So last night I decided to see what's really going on out there. So I leave the garage door open ,and turn off all the lights. About the time she usually gets home, I go out in the garage and wait.. In a few minutes, his car pulls into my driveway, and I'm hiding behind my SL-R. When his headlights shine through my garage and onto the car, I see something that I just couldn't believe. There is no place to put a front license plate! How am I suppose to mount the front plate?

Wow. Great question.

Under the nose and above the Aerofoil/front lip?

Had me completely sucked in. :D

Are you guys allowed to run stick-on number plates, as in stickers?

Failing that, what's the fine for not have a front number plate and how often do you think you will be pinged for it. You could just consider it part of the running costs.

This is coming from the guy that doesn't have a front number plate on his Cobra. I even have the mounting brackets.

I was hoping I'd get some of ya. I saw someone post this same thing on the civic forum (what the heck was I doing there?) and thought it was pretty funny. I felt really bad for the guy at first...

Actually I haven't had a front license plate on my daily driver for years and never been told anything. Even when I've been pulled over for speeding :( the officers have not said anything.

I've never seen stick-on license plates, but they sound cool.

That Cobra is BEAUTFIUL Craig! Note to self: have Craig build me a Cobra for my next car.

I'm grateful we aren't required to have a front plate here.

I did a ride along with a county police officer the other day.

We did not have any service calls so we went looking for violators. We pulled over 10 people in 6 hours all who did not have a front plate. He asked for license and registration checking for warrants and expirations. Most did not have anything except last guy suspended license, & reg and passenger had possession of drug paraphernalia. Cited both.
