I have ordered a complete K20Z3 (2006 Civic Si 200hp / 6 speed lsd) swap from http://autoadventure.net . The motor / trans / accessories / shifter / drive shafts / pedal assembly / ignition assembly / ECU was only $3950 + $250 shipping to Fran's shop in Michigan. Seems like a good deal to me.

good find dude!

Thanks. I'm probably getting in over my head with this thing, but at least I won't be bored for a few months. It seems like a good deal to me. This reprogramming the ECU stuff is a mystery to me. I'm good with maintenance stuff and mechanically seeing how things are put together, but the computers are, like, way out of my range of knowledge. Never too old to learn though. It is funny here. I'm like the grandpa of the group, and on Ferrarichat I'm like one of the high school kids. No jerks here though!

Nice engine, what transmission are you using? Is that the engine from your Atom or is it one for an SL-R? Also, get that storage stuff off your motor dude! Where did you buy the engine from? Also, how come when I post a picture it shows as a small thumbnail, and other people's pictures show full size?

Heh. Yes, I did move the stuff off the engine. We are warring against clutter and brought down everything in the attic to get rid of or sell. (not including the kid)

I bought this engine and the last one from car-parts.com.
No, we sold the GM Ecotec engine WITH the Atom.
I'm going to use a six-speed tranny from an RSX-S in all probability.

I don't know about yoru pictures. I uploaded mine to photobucket and then linked them here.

There are two ways to post pictures

1. Your method was as an attachment to this site.
2. Gages method was a "link" to picture hosting site like Photobucket.

Thanks. I am too lazy to use photobucket, so I'll jsut continue to upload the pictures to this site.
