I heard some news about a V8 Deronda. :eyecrazy:

Yes, it is true. A V8 version of the Deronda will be available soon. The engine of choice will be an LS2 crate engine from GM mated to a Porsche G50 gearbox. End result is 400HP and 400ftlbs torque in a 1700 lb car. Chassis is all tig welded chrome moly. The rolling kits are sold through Sirius Motorsports (847-968-5516) or jim@siriusmotorsports.com. The engines can be ordered through many outlets including the GM catalog. Outlets for final assembly can be suggested.

I wonder how it compares to the an Indy car or the like, hp to weight.
