I got an update from Mark Swain the new "owner"? of the N. America Manufacture.

He is busy setting up the manufacture facility at VIR as I write. The First Atom 3 production vehicle is scheduled to be ready In June 2008 and the Price should hold to $58k for a complete base car. :thumb2:

Historical information:

When I ordered my Atom in February 06 I could have gotten a base model for 38K. (36k for the non-supercharged model) We ended up paying 42k.

Now the base spec is 58K.

My observations based on that information:
Get in early on any project that you are interested in. Prices can go through the roof.
I am simply amazed at the cost of doing business.
I love the Atom and I hope they build it forever.
