Which has always amazed me how many open sports cars/locost's etc. are made/sold in England!

Simon, do you think you will ever make a 2 seat derivative?

Agreed. Great pictures.

That intake does look good.

I have always liked the center seat driver's position.

Please do get one over here.

Its true England is one of the biggest purchasers of convertible cars for the size of our counrty, yet our climate isnt the best for these types of cars.

It is said that the British people are optimists so buy convertible just incase the Sun shines for 3 or 4 days a year !

We are also used to cold weather so dont mind to much if we have to wrap up to go out in the car. I just dont like rain to much.

As for a 2 seat car its not on the cards for the V-Storm, as we are working on some alternative body options for the V-Storm on the existing platform, so keeping with the three seat layout, it also means we dont have to make a left and right hand drive chassis with the central seating as well.
If we add another car to the range it may be 2 seats.

Well as for getting one to the states Im hopeful the Subaru car will tempt someone to take the plunge from over the water.
We'll have to wait and see.

cheers
Simon

Thanks Simon.

Before in Oz I know you couldn't get a centrally seated car registered, much to the dissapointment of potential McLaren F1 owners - don't know about now.

Tomorrow, being the weekend, I'll get out my old CD's and see if I can find those WRX powered pictures of mine. I had a 2wd box behind it not the WRX box, must have been an EJ22 box, can't remember.

I really don't know why half of all kit cars aren't powered by Sub engines, I had a knock around race car (you would call it a track day car now) with an EA81 engine many years ago - whopping 60hp! But it was fun and cost me about $300 to build then and you couldn't kill it. Sold it for $1200!

I still want to build a 3 wheel drive reverse trike using an EA81 turbo 4WD mechanicals one day, the single rear wheel eliminates binding and the weight distribution should be about the perfect 66/33. Hmmm, should be near 1000hp per ton!
