So I was talking with my favorite, very knowledgeable muffler guy.
All 4 of the manufactures they order from do not carry honda headers.
All the run of the mill aftermarket honda headers are "junk" they leak. He says down the road you will not be happy with the product. That is why they are inexpensive.
The 4 in to 1 is the preferred design but longer.

I am wondering if the custom route might be for the picky SLR customer like you guys. :D
I have local Header fab shop here in Boise that can help with fabing the custom header / muffler / cats / o2 / brackets / for the K series motors. This is an assumption that the K20 and K24 will be the same.
The first prototype would be first. Then quantity of 10 or more can be done with reasonable price. I think under 1k for all of the above. Stainless is 3x more expensive but nice. My muffler expert says aluminized steel pipes will not rust , just need to paint the welds another option. Or Ceramic coating is also another option.
I have been talking with Chad and we will see if we can get the car to the fab shop and get this done.
This is assuming also that Fran does not get there first??
