I really like this idea of a folding car trailer. It would save a ton of space, and I think the design resembles that of the exocars quite nicely.
It is however a bit more expensive than your normal car trailer.

I used a U-Haul tow dolly on a Mazda Miata a couple of weeks ago. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily it hauled the car with no major install or egress issues, and nice handling qualities while on the road. I'd consider getting one for a track car.

Thanks for posting this. I gave them a call to make sure it would fit the Atom. The distributor they recommended has it for $3500 with a free spare tire

It is nice and would be handy to store indoors without taking up much space. I went with a cheap dual axle used trailer and repainted it myself, for a total cost in of around $800. The pics are: as purchased for $710, then after cleaning and applying primer, then after painting (with a brush), then with the car loaded up for a trip.
