Early Prototype? Maybe a Superlite Roadster? Or the Coupe?

Coupe based. Fran mentioned that the early Coupe's was built to run an Ecotec motor. That type of body construction..(can't remember the term Fran used) is originally from air plane construction and has nothing to do with an SL-R.

When I was at RCR I saw them building what looked like a custom aluminum tank probably smaller than that one.

The SL-R has a custom aluminium 9 gallon(35 litre) fuel tank.
