Intercooler shopping, questions

Maybe this is a dumb question..

but why are these intercoolers (not the AW ones)

I couldn't tell you. They don't look much different, maybe the ones from the bottom link have a crazy hookup from the manufacturer or they do all the fabricating in house. Either way, I'd go with them as long as they have a good warranty and make you feel all warm & fuzzy about your purchase. MUCH cheaper, very nice. If they build their own intercoolers, you may just be able to give them dimensions and get custom intercoolers made in quantity and be the guinnea pig to make sure they work and get it at a REALLY cheap price. Just a thought though....
