I'm trying to find an expert with photo altering software whom I could beg, bribe, or pay outright to help me take a good picture of an SL-R and put several different paint schemes on it.

If you guys are, or you know someone, please pm or email me.

Wow Bolus. You have skills. I was going to take one of the larger Aussie Atom pics. I'm trying to see an SLR in a a Blue pearl Nose (hayabusa blue is closest) and side scoops, with black seats and black fenders, and variants there of. This car has no fenders, but it looks great none the less.

First three, 2007 Hayabusa blue, aka Pearl Vigor Blue four and five are 2004 pearl deep blue. I love these colors.

And my favorite on the end I think candy indy blue.

About the best I can do with the color replacement tool. I wouldn't know how to 'shop in some good fenders

Great Job Bolus. Thank you!

Here are two more images if it isn't too much trouble. Could you lean a little darker on the blue?

And if you don't have time, thanks again for those above.

While I'm at it, could you throw in a couple of Red shoulder seat belt straps and a kitchen sink too?

:D

Thanks again.

I cant quite get it. if I darken it all the highlights start going crazy. oh well

Great effort! Bow of gratitude.

I think I'm leaning toward that last blue, Candy Indy Blue, on the side scoops and nose, with black seats and fenders.

also bolus--just a friendly tip:

once youve replaced the color with the color you want, add another fill layer, only instead of selecting "solid color," select "soft light" and "tint" it until you get the color just right

ok i did this real quick so there are rough edges and what not, but it gives you the idea. the fenders were scratch painted in, so they arent perfect but i think it suffices for what you were looking for.

i even threw in the harnesses

In that picture the car looks so naked to me without rear fenders and a rear wing.

Gage,

I agree, with the comment on the rear wing and fenders.

It also needs the frame in the same blue, so the car doesn't just look like a lot of misc. parts bolted together.

I WANT mine to look like a bunch of miscellaneous parts bolted together. Screw all that bodywork! I’ll take mine neked.

Is that a good thing or bad thing?

It would be cool to have a completely naked exocar. But the nice thing about having body work is that you're able to hide a lot of stuff. A lot of my wiring is run right up by the hood so you're not able to see it. You also have the brake fluid reservoirs and plumbing and battery as well.

Right now, I don't have to worry about people looking at all that stuff. If they were able to see it, I'd want it to look much better. Having no body work and still having it look "clean" would be quite the task.

LoL! Naked can be great.

However the right attire can add a delightful mystery or flattering accentuation.

The SL-R is has a beautiful exoskeleton, but in this case it needs more flattering accentuation I.E. body work that makes it look even better, I.M.O.

Conversely, this girl doesn't need much to be decent and very attractive.

The same can be said for motorcycles.
