Hey karlo do you want to update this?

Dodge SRT-4 maybe

Choice of nose cones and fenders - design.to be announced (TBA)

Adjustable bucket seats ( I think it maybe those plastic ones now)

Also with what engine and tranny is the weight rated at 1150?

I will need to talk with Fran about the weight and seats.

The weight Fran quoted as 1150 was with an engine / trans but without the proposed body panels and radiator, also missing the exhaust I think. So add the small amount of weight and it should be around 1250 with everything, maybe 1300 or so with a windshield. A car like this will definitely be different with and without a passenger. The power / weight ratios could change fairly substantially.
the seats are adjustable (front/back), but are plastic racing style seats. I am sure they can be covered like the ones shown in the photos of the Superlite Coupe.
I finished installing my car lift today, so I'm about ready to order the car! I've located two potential motor / trans combos, and I have an email to Fran to get his thoughts before selecting one.

^ i honestly hope to see better seats than those in this car. i wouldnt much care for trusting my life to $150 ebays seats when bombing around in that kinda car. crap i wouldnt those things near my integra.

iv been loving everything i have seen on this forum since i found out about the SL-R. i love that its well priced and you can choose your engine and i would hate to see some low quality seats get tossed in it just to keep costs down a few hundred bux.

The seats in the SL-R are fiberglass buckets not the upholstered seats shown in the graphic....they were just mock up parts.
The seat shells are based on a Porsche race seat shell from a 962...so they are the real deal.
There is no upholstery on them

No need for 5 slots ...only one in the submarine belt location...the rest of the harness points pass over the seat...and the wings on the seat sides...one benefit of using the real deal.

I plan on covering the seats with some thin padding and leather, but that's just me. No need to knock a seat based on price. I had some cheap seats in an old VW back in the day and they were really pretty good. I finished installing my lift Saturday so I definitely have the space ready for the new SL-R! Can't wait, I plan on placing my order today!!!!:coolnana:
