What is your opinion on the street value of a completed Sonic 7 or Rocket with a low time or zero time engine?

Not much in this economy.... South of 15k I'd guess. Now if word got out.... Price could go up. There is just not much a a market for this kind of stuff in the US. I hope I get proved wrong.

This is a very biased/opinionated question...its like asking what a barry bonds rookie card is worth. Books and appraisers may say 300 but if someone is willing to pay 350 then that's what it could be worth
The economy is not in the best of shape to warrant car purchases in general especially a non dealer backed model with no warranty wether the miles are low or high. I know what you are thinking and as great of an idea as it seems its not. There will always be the ones who can afford it and can't. But its all based upon possible buyers opinions, they don't know what it costs and what its worth or what you spent. When I build my rocket my goal is to build it for under 13g which id say is a fair estimate. So if your looking to resell which is something I thought of what is a fair number to put up for profit? Roughly 100 man hours to build even charging a rediculous 50 bucks an hour labor rate will only put u at 5000 dollars profit but assuming ur trying to have a no mileage engine buying a donor and a brand new engine might be a little less cost efficient
My whole thing is that if u find the right person these could be sold easily, if some younger guy wants some excitement, unique styling, and performance it can't be beat for even say 30g but I wouldn't charge near that unless your running all brand new equipment rather than used parts

How much is "FUN" worth?
I think the "value" proposition is key to the pricing. These cars should represent a good value, and as such, a lightly used drivetrain would be perfectly acceptable to most buyers. Saving $3-5k for a lightly used drivetrain would offer good value, and the small amount of expected mileage on these cars after assembly should not pose any significant worries.
As far as pricing goes, I would think something inthe range of $20-25k would be a good target if you are offering some "after purchase" support when things will inevitably go wrong.
