Pretty Quiet Here. :awais: Once the kits start rolling I would expect things will pick up.

That could be a good thing. That means all of the manufacturers are spending their time slaving away in their caves. :D

People loosing interest? No reason checking in and looking if no new information is here. ie. pictures.

I'd imagine there will be some big news (ie pictures) here pretty soon. Atleast for the superlite roadster. Fran has been sending BT and me pictures of our cars. If it's OK with Fran I'd be more than happy to post all of them up for everyone to see. The frames are powdercoated and looks like the nose cone and the side pods are all finished. Not too much longer and we should be seeing pictures of some finished SLRs.

Yes, and I have to say I am glad I went with the yellow. I think it looks AWESOME!!!
I expect we will see finished SL-R pictures in about two weeks or so.

Reminds me of the release of the GTM in 2004. When the pics came out on the GTM there was a initial excitement, then the kit sales 2 years later with backorder parts. I think RCR is on better schedule than the FFR GTM. It probably helps that the Superlite Roadster is simpler kit.

I cant wait to see one in yellow. This time last year I was just about ready to put my deposit down on an Atom. I even went to visit the brammo factory in Ashland. I was in Oregon anyway visiting family. And did the Ariel atom experience when it came to Texas last year. Im just trying to decide right now if im going to keep my yellow S2000 when I get something else SLR, Atom, X-bow ect.

I'm telling you, it baffles me how the SL-R can be offered for $16k. With all that has to go into it, I can't see the prices staying this way for very long. If you have a good interest in the car you should gather up the deposit and go for it now! The yellow is a great contrast to the frame color.

My problem is that I live in Wisconsin. Our month of summer will come and go soon.

I hear you porsche guy. Here in Idaho, summer comes and goes pretty quick too. I'm hoping that with a windshield and some seat warmers I might be able to get a couple of more weeks out of it. I'll let you know how cold it gets.
