I have a question about the steering column installation. I hope I don't offend anyone, but I think the steering column setup from the focus looks horrible. Can anybody who has built a Rocket or Sonic give me their opinion on fitting a custom steering column that is typically used in Hot Rods. Most of them have horn a turn signal switches only.
www.ididitinc.com is basically what I had in mind. Could I just order the kit without the steering column mount and just fab something myself? Is the brake/clutch mounting integrated into the same brackets?
Thanks.

I tried to make the Focus steering work, and it didn't for me. Check out my thread here (half way down) to see my "fix":
