Building or should I say manufacturing a car from scratch is large undertaking. Especially if it is not your primary business. I would think he will be using someone else design, Fran? cheapracer? ox sports cars? palatov? Deronda?

Not mine but he did try to get me to ship him one a while ago...just for test fitting an engine...Hhhmm...I think we have that bit sorted out....cheeky bugger....

If my info is right I believe it will be based on a certain older red car that starts with F and comes from Italy using Honda S2000 drivetrain (as in front engined RWD).

I do like that particular F car. I have a 1965 ASA 1000 sitting in the garage that I will get to someday.

I had moulds for that car and had two sitting in my shop for a long time...just sold them and the cars to a company based in Canada

The engine I have but not the car. The engine apparently was in a racing boat of which wasn't unusual for Maserati engines to be used for but not sure. It does have 4 short exhaust stubs similar to what you would see for a boat though. I have had it running and it runs well.

Don't know what I am going to do with it but at one stage i was looking for a FIAT 1100D to put it into.

My ASA has just been waiting for me to get back to it. It has been waiting a long time. I did find it interesting that you threw up an engine when i said I had an ASA, as I have almost everything but the engine and transmission for the car. Obscure Italian stuff, who knew ...
