Could Tires Be Included In Base Package?

I know the goal of the SLR is to keep the initial purchase price to a minimum. Howver, I think the tires should be included with the base package. They are going to be purchased by the prospective buy anyways!

I am sure the company could get a far better discounted price than any one of us could purchasing individually. Of course the base price would have to go up to cover the price of the tires. It just seems kind of silly not to include them.

Could it be an option? There could be the choice of only type "x" tires or you purchase your own. Just my $.o2.......

What does anyone else think??

Actually the factory probably would not get a better deal on tires. Brammo had trouble stocking yokohama A048's for the Ariel Atom and yokohama did not really care since brammo was a small outfit and they really only cared about tirerack and les scwhab.

So brammo was at one point ordering tires through tirerack to put on their new cars. Pretty silly. It was at that point cheaper to just by them yourself. Several people ordered them through tirerack and had them shipped directly to brammo to be put on their cars during assembly.

also i like the idea of choosing my own tires and some of us can get hook ups. so i like how it is at the moment.
