Who has the 0-60 Guiness World record in a 4 cylinder?

I would assume some type of turbo sportbike.

I should have been more specific, 4 wheels production car.

Pulled from a Wikipedia on the Ariel Atom
The British newspaper The Sunday Times measured the time taken from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) at 2.89 seconds, making it the world's third fastest accelerating production car then available after the $1.3 million, 1,001 PS (987 bhp) Bugatti Veyron which reaches 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 2.46 seconds,[5] and the Ultima GTR, which reaches 60 mph (97 km/h) in 2.6 seconds;[6] the review was in 2005.
Cannot seem to find anything from http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/ yet.

3.07 secs 0-60 Ford RS200 has the 4 cylinder record. It is surprising to me that others have better times. I guess the difference is "official" as the video below. Go to it twice.

I believe that a turbo Hayabusa powered Nemesis or J15 can actually do better.

I don't think those are street legal so they would not count any more than a race car's numbers.

Maybe a TR-42 with a turbo Subaru STi engine pushing 350 wheel hp could be a contender too.

Now that would be some good advertising (and a hell of a good time too)!

Well I just PayPal'd for the motor and RA geared trans, but to help the 0-60 thingy we'll NOT be doing the VF39 turbo - gotta surprise
Actually the J15 is street legal in most states.
I have a Bob Carpenter built 1441 Hayabusa motor (255 HP) that should do the job. The J15 has similar aero as the Lotus 19 and is very light so doesn't need extreme power.
How do you go about setting up an official test?
