Hi karlo,
Hopefully later in the year through a distrubutor,I have been in talks with Chet at http://www.galekmotorsports.com/ they are based in New Jersey, and currently distribute fisher sportscars from the Uk.
I think the V-Storm will be a nice addition to his range but its early days yet,but I have quite a few interested customers from various parts of the USA. Maybe they could all get together and share the shipping and bring over a large consignment together !

I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Bye for now

Hello Simon,

Have you figured out the cost of the VSTORM for USA customers, ie shipping ETC?

Hi Karlo,
I have costed previously this was from a shipping company in the UK a 20 Ft container which you could probably get 4 kits in,was around £1200 sterling to get it to the states, then it would be plus any local custom / goverment taxes payable locally. Hope this gives people an idea, although if people speak to Chet at http://www.galekmotorsports.com/ he will probably advise better as he is already bringing kits into the USA.

Thanks Simon

What is your projected production output this year? Also how has the response been since your unveiling?

Hi Karlo,
We have already sold all the allocation for Spring Delivery, but hope to squeeze another 1 or 2 onto the production run for deliverys commencing in March. My next expected delivery date will be June / July.My aim is to do 3 or 4 production runs a year, subject to demand.
So I guess Ill have to wait and see what the public response is like over the coming year, but so far im very pleased, as so do my customers seem to be with the product. It has been received very well at all the shows we have attended, and after the front cover and feature in complete kitcar magazine, the enquirys have been flooding in. So all in all things are going well.I hope to sell a around 30 units this year and will be very happy if we do this many, but if the demand is there we can easily produce more.
So its going to be an interesting year !

Best Regards

Hi everyone,
I would very much like to attend the show I have heard its one of the biggest in the USA for kit type vehicles. Can anyone confirm this ? Has anyone been before, how many manufactures usually attend, any pics anyone ?
I would like to get the V-Storm into the US market as soon as possible,as I am sure it will fill a niche. I cant confirm yet whether or not I can get a car shipped over in time for the show as the date is very close to that of the biggest kitcar show in the UK.
So I will have to see how things are nearer the time, and if anything has been finalised with a US importer. I thing the Carlisle show would be a great platform to launch it from in the states,so as they say never say never,if it can be done we will be there !but no promises just yet. watch this space.

Thanks

Simon

Here is the link for Carlisle. It is the biggest in the USA. It would be an ideal launch date for the VSTORM.
