I watched a show on Aluminum the other night (yes my wife says the same thing:() any way a GM engineer said that as a rule of thumb for every 10% reduction in weight a 8% increase in fuel efficiency was expected....

Not something us power happy guys think much about I know but I wonder at what point that stops? or was he just trying to get a point across?

PooK (wondering if there some tax credit I'm missing:thumb2:)

I'd like to see a 10% reduction in my weight.

I'd also be excited about a 10% reduction in my wait. (jk)

Ive heard also for every 100lbs would be a .2 GPM increase, but weight is a big factor in alot of things Braking, Acceleration, Cornering Gs, GPM, and wear and tear. Horsepower is what I dont care about (because its easy to get more) weight is hard to get rid of like buying Dry Carbon or Forged Billet Aluminum parts.
