Anyone trying out the Factory Five design contest?

Even though Matrix is already way ahead in this aspect of kit cars (subi mid engine car), is anyone participating in the design contest?

They want too much body for my taste. I'm glad though, because it would be difficult to compete with all their resources if they were doing the same car we are building.
I think the design submissions will all include 24" wheels with something like 285/15-24 tires and no room for travel in the fenders.

One of the designers we worked with did awesome renderings, but the designs were really wild and too complex to actually build for our type of car buyer. It might work well for Factory Five though.

Yup... Because we all know how well a 24" wheel performs versus a 17" of 18" wheel...

LOL!!!

Im curious to see the outcome of this, though. Cant beat having a free-well, $5000 fee-to see hundreds of designs to choose the best one.
