Windshield

I was wondering if anybody had heard any news about the windshield for the SL-R. I know Fran was talking about making one a couple months ago, but haven't heard anything since.

When I was at the shop on April 16th he said they were 16 weeks out, so there should be some available on August 1 or so.

When Jim and I were there for the Factory visit, I do not recall anything said about the windshield, we should of asked??

Thanks. I went to a car club yesterday and was talking to some of the guys there and they told me that for my car to be street legal I do need a windshield and wipers. Even though it doesn't say you have to have one in the Idaho code, the cops will still give you a ticket for it.

Well, at the end of the code they have sort of a "catch all phrase" that says the final word lies with the police commisioner (or whoever is in charge). I would rather just get a windshield than try to fight this in court.

What BS. No crime to be on a croch rocket but if you want to be in a roadster with a helmet you still need a windshield.
