I saw on the SDR web site that their are options for the Vstorm. So can you get it as a 2 seater?

Hmm, I have always know the Vstorm to be 3 seats. 2 seats is new information to me.

"The idea for the Vstorm was born out of a personal need for a particular type of car that hasn't previously existed. It is aimed as an alternative to the many seven clones ,and other kits out there ,and with 3 seats and a single seater central driving position ,it can appeal to a wider spectrum of people by having the ability of offering optional seating configurations, Single seat (Fl Style) ,2 seater ,or 3 seats, the choice is yours!"

Also can you get the WR3 with a spoiler or wind shield?

Hi Deffeect,
sorry if this has caused some confusion. To clarify what this means, is that the car can be driven "treated" as a single seater one person driver, a 2 seater driver and passenger, and a 3 seater driver and 2 passengers. The car is only avaialble in its 3 seat layout.
I hope the clears it up for you.

Best Regards

Simon

Oooo ok i understand now. yea as i was posting it i thought if thats what it meant.

Another thing are their any options for the car, like a windshield? In some pic i saw the green and black on had a spoiler(wing) i was wondering if you can still get a spoiler if i order the wr3 layout.

Windsheild question is for registration purposes I assume is what you require,Steve Hammen will be working on getting it through USA registration when he gets his car to the states he is located in detroit and has posted on here under V-Storm Group buy.
As for the wing on the green Kawasaki powered car it was just a Generic universal wing fitted to the car for cosmetic appeal so another could be had if you wanted one

Cheers

I thought I seen somewere one of these with a windshield. I doubt it is US approved, but it might be laminated glass which is much better than lexan or plexiglass (scratch resistance).

Like always, these guys (except Matrix) show their cars with no windshield and rarely with fenders. This makes them look better than they actually will be when you get yours on the road. It is kind of annoying to me, like when you see a concept car with 22 inch wheels and 15 series tires, only to find the production unit rides about 4 inches higher and has 215/65-16 tires. I mean, look at the Superlite Roadster shown in the banner. Where is that product? Nevermind that the headlights are probably about 12" lower than allowed in the US, the front end looks great, unlike the cars you can actually buy. The Atom cleverly hides the headlights behind the front wheels. That looks better but probably doesn't light the road very well.

I've been riding a Ducati monster 800 for five years and am done with the wind in my face experience. I want a car with a windshield. Unfortunately I don't have enough money. Does anyone know what the landed cost of the kit is, I remember reading that there was a group buy happening a few months ago?
:(
